Why finitude is a feature
The grid does not exist to depress you. It exists to make an abstraction concrete enough to act on. Knowing the weeks are countable is what gives them weight, and it is the same awareness, of time, mortality, and meaning, that I take apart in The Animal That Knew Too Much. Memento mori, then go do something with the squares you have left.
